EDF: Insect Armageddon out this week - HD look with VO

Earth Defence Force: Insect Armageddon hits Europe on Friday for 360 and PS3. It costs less than £25. Watch the video after the break. You may decide you wish to buy it after doing so.

The movie's an HD edit of the first hour-ish of single-play, but there's three-player online co-op, a six-player Survival mode and two-way split-screen as well.

It's a sci-fi TPS in which you shoot ants. And spiders. And robots. You level up soldiers and get new guns. You can shoot trees, too.

Insect Armaggedon is developed by Vicious Cycle as a sequel to Sandlot's EDF 2017, which released in 2006 in Japan and 2007 in the west. The original Earth Defence Force was a 2005 PS2 game, again by Sandlot, that made it west in 2007.

Take a look. It's fun.
