Call of Juarez: The Cartel video tryptich introduces the crew

Ubisoft wants to introduce you to the three protagonists of Call of Juarez: The Cartel. Having read their bios, I'm quite pleased the game is played from behind them.

Ben McCall, perhaps the only man who could ever teach you, is the son of a preacher man. Local football star and scholarship boy, he served a tour in Vietnam and lost his faith. Now he's an LAPD man with two Medals of Valor and a number of police brutality charges.

Eddie Guerra has a much longer name to give him Spanish cred, but he's an LA boy born and bred. A former Marine turned DEA agent, he's a gambler with an adrenaline addiction.

Kim Evans was raised in Compton, which makes her old school west side for life. Or something. She grew up in gangs but worked her way to college before entering the FBI and law school. She took down a serial killer single handedly, and has had Marines training.

Call of Juarez: The Cartel is the third entry in Techland's series, and is due on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on July 19. Check out gameplay footage here.
