Metal Gear Solid HD collection priced by retailers

The great consciousness of games retail is predicting a $49.99 price tage for Konami's upcoming Metal Gear Solid HD Collection.

Gamestop suggested the pricing on pre-orders for the collection. It includes PS2 classics Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, as well as the excellent PSP title Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, which Kojima has described what would have been Metal Gear Solid 5 if it hadn't been a portable game.

It's going to benefit about seven thousand fold from the second analog stick.

The Metal Gear Solid HD Collection is due on both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, with no release day set, but retail estimating mid-November.
