Open beta for Hellgate launches June 30

T3 Entertainment’s free-to-play MMO Hellgate, will go into open beta on June 30 and is to include two new game modes: the PvP Duel Area and the zombie-infested Cow Room.

In Duel Arena PvP, player can modify game settings and other battle rules in four areas: Abandoned Passage, Black Wall Way, Forgotten Grave, and Passage of Hallucination. Players enter Death Match mode and must kill members of the opposing team.

Recovery Crystals are available near each team’s base, allowing players to recover HP, MP and shields. The winning team will get PvP points, which may be used to purchase accessories, pets and other items in-game The weekly top ten PvP players will be rewarded by the dev team.

The Cow Room is infested with a team of normal and mummified zombies which are protecting the main boss in the room. One of the challenges in this area is the Sandstorm, which can cause players to loose vision.

In order to enter the Cow Room, players need to complete a special recipe to create a key, and if successful in the area, can earn some new and rare item drops.

Four special events to celebrate the launch of open beta will be available to players, and will include goodies for all.
