Sony WorldWide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida has said that the rear touch-pad for PlayStation Vita was rejected initially at first.
Speaking to Famitsu in the magazine’s latest issue this week, Yoshida said that its costs and doubts it could provide an enjoyable experience was the reason it was dropped at first.
But after playing around with it, it decided to go with it.
He also reiterated that from the outset of Vita’s development – which began back in spring 2009 – that it was aiming for a price tag of ¥25,000.
