Ghost Recon: Future Soldier beta to begin in January

Ubisoft's announced the open beta for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will begin next January, with the publisher confirming more details to VG247 this morning

The news was made via the game's official Twitter. It said in a tweet:

"We know you have been asking about the beta. We're excited to announce that the MP beta will be launching in January 2012!"

Ubisoft's confirmed to VG247 this morning that the taster is still indeed 360 exclusive, and that those who still have their copy of Splinter Cell: Conviction will still get in. In fact, Conviction owners will get "early exclusive access."

However, the company will be announcing "other ways" to get into the beta "soon."

An open beta for Future Soldier was confirmed as far back to the actual announcement of the game, confirming that it would offer access with copies of Splinter Cell: Conviction, which has been available since last April.

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier launches in March 2012 for PS3, 360 and PC.
