Report - UK games retail sees YoY decrease in May despite LA Noire launch

UK games retail went into a YoY decrease tailspin for the month of May despite the launch of Rockstar's LA Noire, a report from MCV is claiming.

£73.2 million was made at retail last month, down 5.4 percent from the £77.4 million made for the same period in 2010.

For unit sales, it was at 2.92 million units, down ten percent from the 3.3 million units for May last year.

The Team Bondi investigator thriller was the biggest selling game in the UK last month, having launch midway through May.
