London 2012 - The Official Video Game of the Olympic Games announced by SEGA

SEGA has announced London 2012: The Official Video Game of the Olympic Games, which is to be made available on PS3 and Xbox 360.

Players will be able to create their own "moments of sporting history and fame" by with the various events and disciplines which will be part of the London 2012 Olympic Games. W

The game contains over 30 events and the ability to compete online with the best being tops on the leaderboards.

“The London 2012 Olympic Games is sure to be a once in a lifetime experience for many people,” said Gary Knight, senior VP of marketing at SEGA Europe and America.

“The official video game will give people all over the world the chance to participate in the greatest sporting event on earth from their homes, even if they are thousands of miles away."

Developed by the newly rebranded SEGA Studios Australia, London 2012 - The Official Video Game of the Olympic Games will be release in 2012.
