SouthPeak reports revenue and profit increase for Q3 FY 11

SouthPeak Interactive has posted its financial results for Q3 of its FY 2011, and it has reported revenues of $16.1 million and a profit of $3.2 million.

The increase in both revenue and profit is up year-over-year, compared to the same quarter last year when it reported $7.5 million in revenue and a profit of $200,000.

SouthPeak attributed the increase to the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Two Worlds II as well as the My Baby franchise.

According to the firm, via Gamasutra, units shipped for the company's fiscal year were up 190 percent with average game revenue of $29.47.
