F.E.A.R. 3's Soul King multiplayer mode less funky than hoped for

Soul king! That's a nice name for a multiplayer mode. I bet it's all about picking awesome outfits, and proving you know how to shake that thang, and ... no, no it's not. Dang.

In fact, it looks more like a two-part mode, where you spend a little while floating about as a ghost, preparing, before things really kick off.

A delightful tall poppy mechanism means you might not actually want to win. Aim for second. That seems pretty good, and less people try to murder you for your sweet, sweet souls.

FEAR 3 releases for PS, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in late June.
