Runic developer blog discusses the environments of Torchlight II

Those interested in Torchlight II may wish to head on over to Runic Games' webiste and check out lead level designer Patrick Blank's blog on creating the in-game worlds.

The developer blog details how the firm designed the game's passes, dungeons, and its overworld areas. According to the post, the later of which are apparently much larger than some of the biggest areas in Torchlight I.

Art director Jason Beck and Blank also answer some questions about level design thrown at them by the community.

Torchlight II is due for release on the PC sometime this summer.
