Rayman Origins Wii E3 "surprise" ruined

Retail outing of an unannounced Wii version of Rayman Origins has spoiled Ubisoft's plans for a surprise E3 reveal.

An Ubisoft representative made a disappointed statement to N1ntendo (Dutch):

"Rayman Origins will also be released as a retail-game for Wii, even though this is/was supposed to be a surprise for this year’s E3.”

No word yet on a rumoured DS version. Rayman Origins will release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, possibly in November.
