Virtua Fighter crossover provides excuse to talk up El Shaddai

We can probably file this one under "unlikely to escape Japan", but Sega and Ignition have announced a crossover of sorts between Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown and angelic beat-'em-up, El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron.

Andriasang reports the crossover takes the form of unlockable titles, which appear under your character's name in Virtua Fighter 5, which was released in 2007.

These titles are catch phrases ("It's okay" and "no problem") taken from El Shaddai, which while still scandalously under hyped in English, went phenomenally viral in Japan well before release.

El Shaddai is due via the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live in the third quarter.
