Tekken x Street Fighter development hasn't "really started," says Harada

Tekken boss Katsuhiro Harada has said that development hasn't properly begun on Tekken x Street Fighter.

Instead, Harada noted that the focus right now was on Capcom's Street Fighter x Tekken.

"We really haven't started on Tekken X Street Fighter," he told press (via CVG) this morning at Namco Bandai's LevelUp event in Dubai.

"Things are going well with Street Fighter X Tekken and we'll have more on that at E3. We hope you look forward to that."

Tekken x Street Fighter was announced alongside its counterpart at ComicCon last July in San Diego, with a further showing after that in Cologne, Germany at gamescom. It was there that Harada showed off the only piece of material from TKxSF: a render of Street Fighter's Ryu in the look of Tekken - SFxTK will feature the look of Street Fighter IV.

Expect more from LevelUp soon. Read Steph's impressions of SFxTK from Captivate here.
