Armored Core 5 gets October launch in Japan, still 2012 in EU

As well as confirming the developer's other title Dark Souls for an September release in the country, this week's Famitsu has now confirmed that From Software's Armored Core 5 will launch in October in Japan.

The title will get an online beta before it releases. The taster will be closed, though.

Armored Core 5 will launch in the west for PS3 and 360. Namco Bandai is handling publishing duties, but nothing on the game was mentioned at the publisher's LevelUp press conference this morning in Dubai.

Namco told VG247 this morning that it was still aiming for just a 2012 launch here in Europe.

Thanks, Siliconera.
