EA Sports announces FIFA 12 3DS

EA Sports has announced FIFA 12 for Nintendo 3DS, confirming it'll feature a new 3D street football mode.

The game will feature 500 licensed teams and new touch controls that will enable you to set up the perfect cross or shot.

It'll also feature a new 3D Street Football Mode, which will see a five-on-five match played in the streets, with "exotic street locales and indoor environments that are true to the spirit of street football." Basically, think FIFA Street.

Be a Pro mode is also included for the 3DS version.

"We challenged our development team to develop innovative features that would maximize the FIFA experience on 3DS. They delivered intuitive new touch screen controls and a curved pitch in our Street mode that truly brings the 3D elements to life," said producer Matt Prior.

"When you combine these features and many other innovations with all the authentic players and kits for the upcoming season, we are confident that this will be the best football game available on Nintendo 3DS."

Game's out this autumn. Find the first screens for it here.
