GDC Europe 2011: Mortal Kombat, Playdom and Playfish talks announced

The GDC Europe 2011 schedule has been expanded with newly announced presentations.

On the art side, GameSetWatch reports NetherRealm Studios' cinematic director Dominic Cianciolo will give a talk called "The Cinematics of Mortal Kombat: Re-Booting a Legend".

This year's new addition, the Social Games Summit, will host Playdom's Paul LaFontaine with "Social Gaming is no Longer Just Facebook".

Playfish UK's John Earner will also be in attendance, leading a presentation on increasing production values in social network games.

The three new announcements join previously detailed talks on Brink, Crysis 2 and The Oregon Trail, as well as Mass Effect 3 and Slant Six.

GDC Europe 2011 will be held in Cologne from August 15 to 17.
