Aion: Empyrean Calling dated for May 25

The delicately-feathered MMORPG Aion will receive a major update before the end of the month, as the European and US servers hit version 2.5.
The update, which rejoices in the name of Empyrean Calling and drops on May 25, will bring with it a visual spit and polish, overhauled Crucible, and mentor system.
Empyrean Calling is already available for download on the player test server
To celebrate the update, NCSoft is running several consecutive promotions, which are listed below.
But before that, checkout the trailer for 2.5, which even throws in a 3.0 tease.
- May 11 - June 10: increased XP
- May 18 - May 25: increased drop rates
- May 18 - June 1: PvP AP event
- May 25 - June 10: reduced instance cool down times
