LA Times explains how LA Noire was made, new screens and video released

The LA Times has put up a piece on how Rockstar and Team Bondi were able to create 1940s Los Angeles for LA Noire. It explains how the Australian developer created the city's layout via 1930s era Works Progress Administration maps and topographical information from the US Geological Society. New screens of the game can be found at on the Rockstar site. There's also a new off-screen video showing the game at the Tribeca Film Festival below, via Kotaku.

LA Noire releases on May 17 in the US and May 20 in the UK for PS3 and 360.
