Harmonix has a "significant" announcement for E3

An E3 without announcements is like an egg without salt. E3 2011 will have at least one - Harmonix is promising something big.

The news comes courtesy of Greg LoPiccolo, VP of product development, speaking toIndustry Gamers.

"We’ll have at least one bit of significant news at E3," he said, refusing to be drawn on details.

The Dance Central and Rock Band developer has previously confirmed it has future plans for both franchises, and has been experimenting with motion technology and new products, as well.

Is it June yet?

Thanks, 1UP.
