Capcom: Captivate 2011 "strongest showing to date"

Capcom's annual press summit Captivate had a lot of good stuff goin' on this year, with Capcom describing the event as its best ever.

"This is the fourth year we have run Captivate and initial feedback from attendees is that this was our strongest showing to date," Capcom director of PR strategy Ben Le Rougetel told MCV.

Capcom showed off a number of near-certain hits at the event, including Street Fighter x Tekken, Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition, Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D and the slightly riskier multiplayer action title, Operation Raccoon City.

Additionally, it unveiled a few surprises - remake Dead Rising 2: Off The Record and action RPG Dragon's Dogma - as well as more enigmatic previews of Asura's Wrath.
