Quick Shots - BlazBlue: Continuum Shift to receive Trinity Platinum DLC

Balls-to-the-wall mental 2D fighter BlazBlue: Continuum Shift will see both a premium and free update next month. Here's some pictures of it.

The game will be patched to bring it up to speed with the sequel, currently restricted to arcades. As well as balancing and engine updates, new mechanics will be introduced.

A revised tutorial mode will help you come to grips with the new systems before facing the all-new Challenge Mode content.

Even better, May also sees the introduction of a new, premium character - Platinum Trinity. A familiar NPC to fans of the series, this young girl is home to three distinct personalities. One of them is a dude. Oh, the hilarity!

The Platinum DLC pack will go for $7.99 or local equivalent on the PlayStation Network, and 560 MS Points for Xbox Live, some time in May.

Thanks, Joystiq.
