Dragon Age II: The Exiled Prince DLC bugs patched, Sebastian accessible again

If you nabbed yourself a BioWare Signature Edition of Dragon Age II, you were probably a trifle upset by the bugs plaguing the bonus quest line and companion included therein. Happily, this has been fixed - but only for PC users.

Optional companion Sebastian can be recruited in the game's second act if the player completes a quest line before the end of the first. Unfortunately, a couple of bugs had kept players from obtaining this dreamy Scottish-accented archer.

Sadly, not all the fixes are retroactive, so you'll probably need to go back to a very early save file.

Other updates include fixing Merrill's confusing reference to future events and Varric's apparent inability to distinguish between kissy-face and blind hatred.

No word yet on when the patch will arrive for console players, but expect at least a short delay for certification.

Thanks, Gamefront.
