Megaman Universe canned by Capcom

Capcom's just announced it has canned development on Megaman Universe.

An apology and notice of cancellation was posted on the game's website. An exact reason wasn't posted other than just "various circumstances."

Megaman Universe was a 2.5D platform title that was supposed to release on PSN and Xbox Live, with its main point being player-created content from purely original levels to edited levels in the game, which was based on Megaman 2.

Said player-made levels could also be shared online. Never more.

Thanks, GAF.
