Apple’s confirmed its Worldwide Developers Conference will take place in San Francisco between June 6-9, the same week as E3.

The event will take place at the Moscone Center. Apple’s promised to “unveil the future of iOS and Mac OS” at the event.

“If you are an iOS or Mac OS X software developer, this is the event that you do not want to miss,” said Apple marketing boss Phil Schiller.

A month ago, Apple held its iPad 2 reveal across the road from GDC, just as Nintendo boss Satoru Iwata wrapped up a keynote with an attack on smartphone culture.
