Pokemon Black and White move over 2 million copies in two weeks in the US

NOA has tweeted the news that Pokemon Black and White have sold over 2 million units in the US since both games were released two weeks ago on March 6.

Nintendo didn't say how many of these 2 million included the $180 limited-edition DSi bundles which included one of the two games and featured either Reshiram or Zekrom etched onto the DSi face.

Black and White include more than 150 new Pokemon, the region of Unova which has seasonal changes, as well as Triple Battles and Rotation Battles.

The game has been a massive hit in Japan, and sold 2.6 million units during the first week back in September.  As of the middle of September it had moved 3.39 million units, and as of the last reporting period of Media Create, life-to-date sales stand at 5,117,653 units in Japan alone.
