Ubisoft hiring for Assassin's Creed encyclopaedia

Fancy yourself a bit of a hardcore Assassin's Creed fan? You may be the perfect applicant for Ubisoft's latest position vacant.

An advertisement on the UbiWorkshop website reports Ubisoft Montreal is seeking a writer to assist in producing the Assassin's Creed Encyclopaedia.

Although no details are given as to length of contract or remuneration, Ubisoft is clear that this is a genuine job offer.

Application guidelines are quite strict, requiring hopefuls so submit two sample entries, requiring knowledge of not just the game, but all Assassin's Creed media - novels, comics and more - as well as historical events.

Although Montreal-based applicants may have an advantage, the ad specifically mentions remote workers will be considered - although not whether this applies to outside Canada.

Developers and publishers regularly reach out to fanbases to assist in producing official materials, as when dedicated Demon's Souls fans were recruited to help create promotional goodies for the European launch.

Thanks, Gamespot.
