FEAR 3 to release on May 27 in the UK

Warner's confirmed a May 27 release date for FEAR 3 in Britain.

The game will ship for 360, PS3 and PC.

Alma returns in the latest in the perennial horror series, but this time her sons Point Man and Paxton Fettel introduce "divergent co-op, giving players distinctly different abilities affecting their own play as well as the experience of their co-op partner," according to Warner today.

You'll be able to play as Point Man in single-player or co-op, or as Paxton Fettel in co-op.

Day 1 Studios has developed the shooter, which was announced in April 2010 for an originally stated 2010 ship.

Horror director John Carpenter helped with the title's cinematics.
