Silent Hill: Revelation film begins casting

The first two cast members have been announced for Lionsgate's upcoming film, Silent Hill: Revelation.

Variety (registration required) reports Adelaide Clemens and Kit Harington are the first announced cast members of the follow up to the 2006 release Silent Hill.

Clemens had a small part in X-Men Origins: Wolverine and Shunji Iwai's Vampire, and will feature in the upcoming Mad Max film. Clemens will play haunted protagonist Heather Mason.

Harington only seems to have one credit to his name so far but it packs in quite a lot of geek credit: Jon Snow in the HBO adaptation of George RR Martin's A Game of Thrones series.

As announced last year, Silent Hill: Revelations is being produced by Davis Films, the team behind two entries in the Resident Evil series and the first Silent Hill film.
