Rumour: Catherine localisation to be announced tomorrow

According to a Beefjack report, Atlus thriller Catherine's been listed on US retailer GameStop's website. An announcement of its localisation is apparently due tomorrow.

The retailer had listed the title for a July 26 release. The listing's been pulled, but there's a cache of it here.

A VG247 source has backed up the report.

As for the western publisher, Atlus self-releases its own games in the US. In the past, its used Tecmo Koei, Square Enix, SouthPeak and Rising Star Games for European releases. Take your pick.

The news comes despite Atlus saying last week it had "no plans" to bring the game west.

But over the weekend, the company sent out teaser emails that looked Catherine-themed.

Catherine released a while back in Japan for PS3 and 360. It outsold Marvel vs Capcom 3 in its first week on sale in the country.
