No plans to bring Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition to consoles, says Ono

Super Street Fighter IV Arcade producer Yoshinori Ono has told Weekly Famitsu that there are currently no plans to bring the game to consoles.

According to Ono, the Arcade Edition contains characters who are overly strong to help build "community and competitive spirit," while the console version of SSFIV is very balanced with no character stronger than the other,

Ono also skipped out on mentioning whether the Arcade versions of Yun, Yang, Evil Ryu and Oni will be offered on the console version of SSFIV as DLC eventually or not.

The characters were confirmed last year for the Arcade game, and it has been widely speculated that the fighters would eventually make their way onto consoles. Capcom has yet to confirm any of this.
