Report: 3DS launch AR cards detailed

Details have emerged on five of six augmented reality cards which will reportedly ship with the 3DS at launch.

Sources told Wired about five cards to be packaged with the 3DS, which sound similar to those shown at press hands-on sessions.

One of the revealed games is a 3D sketching tool, another a strange blend of pool and mini-golf, and one allowed you to fish using the 3DS's gyroscopic controls.

A pair of similar titles permitted interaction with virtual characters, using either Miis or famed Nintendo characters.

The AR cards join a number of pre-loaded Street Pass titles, applications and games, in addition to the system's recently revealed official launch line up of sixteen titles.
