No DCUO trade-ins due to activation code, says SOE

Sony Online Entertainment has confirmed that gamers will not be able to trade DC Universe Online.

The company told LazyGamer (via MCV) that when the key for PSN is used with the disc, "it cannot be resold or replayed with the second user adding a sub.

"Only the original consumer can use that account. Disk and account are one."

Whilst this type of lock-out is common for PC players, it's unknown territory for console gamers.

Sony previously including similar codes for its online services in games like ModNation Racers. That was, however, not online-only.
