Crysis 2 gets minimum PC specs, Intel Core 2 Duo and up

Crytek's revealed the minimum specs required to run the PC version of Crysis 2 on its Facebook page.

The info, which was originally posted in German, has been translated by the Geforce team.

From the look of it you won't be needing a beast for this.

And the "system requirements" are:

  • Intel Core 2 Duo or AMD Athlon 64 X2 2GHz or better
  • Nvidia 8800 GT or higher
  • 2 GB RAM
  • Windows XP/Vista/7
  • 9 GB free hard disk space
  • Internet connection

Crytek recently confirmed that the PC version of Crysis 2 will come with DirectX 11 support.

The game recently got an exclusive Xbox 360 multiplayer demo, but Crytek has since assured there'll be a pre-launch demo for PC.

Crysis 2 releases on March 22 in NA and March 25 in Europe for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
