Bulletstorm unlocks for Gears 3 canned by Epic

Epic has said that plans for unlocks in Gears of War 3 that feature other titles from the company, including Bulletstorm, have now been canned.

Plans were previously in place to have unlocks enabled if you had owned the People Can Fly shooter, Unreal Tournament 3 and Shadow Complex for 360.

But that's not the case any more.

"Turns out that we can't read the Bulletstorm, Shadow Complex, and UT3 Achievements for unlocks in Gears 3 after all. Sorry about that all," said Gears 3 lead gameplay designer, Joe Graf in a tweet.

Gears 3 releases later this fall for Xbox 360. A multiplayer beta is included in the 360 Epic Edition of Bulletstorm.
