Jonathan Ross: 3DS capabilities “far better than I would have thought possible without glasses”

UK celebrity and former chat show host Jonathan Ross has been giving his thoughts on 3DS via Twitter; it seems he's impressed.

Ross, who confirmed he's been invited by Nintendo to host a conference next week to give out info on the machine, seemed enthusiastic about the device after revealing he tried out what he described as "an unfinished prototype."

“What I can say about 3DS is that the 3D is far better than I would have thought possible without glasses. Can be switched to regular 2D,” said Ross, before going on to mention that he also tried out a few titles such as Mario Kart.

Finally, Ross went on to say, “The games that seem to benefit the most (from the 3D) are the driving and shooting games – the perspective makes it all feel more accurate.”

Nintendo is planning to finally date the arrival of the device for the UK and Europe at an event in Amsterdam next Wednesday.

Thanks, Nintendo Universe.
