Media Create has released its Japanese hardware sales figures for the week of January 3 through January 9, and it finds PS3 and Wii topping the charts with individual sales.

Per usual, though, if you combine the DS franchise figures, it once again blows the rest out of the water with its formidable figures, DSi LL led the line with 44,122 units sold.

PSP hit fourth on the chart with 28,757 units sold, which is a massive 70K-plus drop compared to last week's figure of almost 100K units. PSP go moved 4,084 units, down 4,999 units over last week's 9,083 units.

Xbox 360 was up 151 units over last week's 3,708 moving almost 4K units. PS2 continues to sell, with Media Create reporting 67 more units sold over last week.
