Mac App Store cracked on day one

piracy

Seriously, don't people have anything better to do?

Gizmodo's reporting that a member of self-explanatory community Hackulous has already managed to open the Mac App Store's floodgates to piracy. For reference, the Mac App Store emerged into our cruel, unfeeling world less than 24 hours ago.

However, said hacker doesn't intend to release the crack to the public until February, so as not to - somewhat confusingly - "devalue applications and frustrate developers." Apparently, the intent is to make a statement against sub-par games, utilities, and such, which the crack's creator doesn't believe will be an issue during the Mac App Store's first days.

So yeah, piracy's confusing. Also, wrong. Pay for things! And stay in school. Unless you're done. Then, uh, don't. This has been a VG247 public service announcement.
