Engadget has posted up pictures of Sony’s yet-to-be-announced PlayStation Phone, courtesy of Japanese blog Forum 7. The shots show the phone with the Xperia and PlayStation logos.

According to the site, the phone is running Android 2.3 and sitting next to an Xperia X10 for scale purposes.

The pics also show the “new” hardware build with a “refined” touch surface along with PlayStation-themed square, triangle, X, and circles.

Hopefully Sony will announce something soon, since the rumored December 9 reveal for the “PSP Phone” has come and gone.

It has been suggested the device, codenamed Zeus, will be called the Sony Ericsson Z1 when it hits the market.
