GT5 gets update 1.03, includes mechanical damage

Gran Turismo 5's been updated to version 1.03 overnight, as promised by Polyphony boss Kazunori Yamauchi last week.

The update will include mechanical damage, just as Yamauchi said, and features the option of including either none, light or heavy damage.

Update itself will be near 150Mb to download.

Another patch, which will include the ability to back-up save games, will come at some point during the month.
