Pre-orders now being taken for Bloodline Champions, new trailer released

Funcom and Stunlock Studio announced today pre-orders for Bloodline Champions are now being accepted for the free-to-play arena player vs player game.

Customers who pre-order now will receive rewards in the form of 16 unique weapon skins, 16 avatars, and an exclusive in-game title known as Dawnbreaker. Those who pre-order will also be given immediate access to the game which is currently in closed beta with over 150K beta testers having tried it out.

The game will move to open beta on December 15.

Bloodline Champions tow versions to choose from: An entry level product priced at $29.99 with 16 bloodlines (classes) and an optional $9.99 upgrade for 4 additional bloodlines; the ultimate version priced at $89.99 which includes all 20 bloodlines, as well as a lifetime VIP membership to the game and lifetime discount in the in-game store, and more.

Gamers will also be able to test their skills in a free-to-play version of the game that has a limited number of bloodlines available in rotation.

The game is set to release by late 2010 or early 2011. You can still sign up to the currently ongoing closed beta here.
