civnetworkfacebook

Take-Two boss Strauss Zelnick's confirmed that Civilization's previously announced Facebook effort, Civilization Network, will release next year.

Take-Two Interactive's first "social network game" will hit in 2011, the exec said at the BMO Capital Markets digital conference in New York yesterday, as reported by Joystiq.

Zelnick added that we should see the product "relatively soon."

The venture's been a long time coming. Take-Two said in February that it would enter testing in June.
