Remember the brave. Then play a fantasy MMO at a discount.

LOTRO’s marking today’s Veteran’s Day by selling the game’s Mines of Moria and Siege of Mirkwood expansions at a 50 percent discount.

The game’s offering a new exchange rate of $11.11 for a 1111 Turbine Point bundle for the LOTRO store. For players lacking one of the expansions, both Mines of Moria and Siege of Mirkwood are half-off at 1248 TP and 998 TP, respectively.

There’s some other stuff for cheap there as well, such as a goat mount. How befitting the ultimate sacrifice.

LOTRO recently went free-to-play.

Thanks, Massively.

  • It's that time of year again: here's your MMO Halloween event round up

It’s that time of year again, when MMO developers release spooktacular updates filled with ghosts, ghouls, pumpkins, werewolves and the like. Because of this, we thought we’d provide players with a small, non-comprehensive update on the various festivities.
