Sony's released an all-new video and details for the gamescom-announced supercar developed in conjunction with Red Bull Racing and Polyphony Digital for Gran Turismo 5: the Red Bull X1.

The footage shows Red Bull F1 driver Sebastian Vettel driving the X1 around the F1 layout of the Nurburgring, as well as PD's Kazunori Yamauchi and Red Bull's chief designer Adrian Newey consulting over the car.

Get that below (thanks, Syrok).

The X1 consists of a stonking 1,483hp, 15,000RPM with a 3000cc twin injected V6 twin turbo engine and has a lateral g-force of 6G with a top-speed of 400KPH.

Gran Turismo 5 was delayed from a previous early November release earlier this month. Sony's said a new date will be announced by the end of the month.
