Ever dreamed of manning your very own Starfleet approved ship?

Well, indie developer Thom Robertson’s Artemis: Spaceship Bridge Simulator is as close as you’re ever gonna get, Sheldon.

Artemis is a co-op game giving each player control of a station on the bridge and is designed to be played across networked computers with your buddies in the same room. Sort of like your very own LAN party. Sort of.

One PC serves as the main screen while the others take on the task of terminals for like: Communication, Engineering, Helm, and Weapon Control. One player gets to be Kirk/Picard/the captain, while the rest “warp around the sector, protecting space stations from a multitude of alien ships”, per Shack and Mitroah Games.

It sounds fracking awesome, and you can get a demo for it over on FileShack.

The full PC game will run you $60 and has a “full money-back guarantee”.

Check out a gameplay session video of it below. There’s also more videos through here.
