Professor Layton, Ace Attorney sales numbers revealed

Capcom's detailed series sales numbers for Professor Layton and Ace Attorney following yesterday's announcement of the two series' coming together for a 3DS title.

The Ace Attorney series has sold 3.9 million units, while the Layton series has sold 9.5 million units.

Yesterday, Level-5 announced Ace Attorney vs. Professor Layton for 3DS at its Vision event.

No date has been announced for Japan. Capcom's said it currently has no plans yet to release the game west, but is asking fans to see what they want.
