Sonic 4 releases today on EU PSN and XBLA - watch the launch trailer

Sega's released the launch trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog, as it launches on the EU PlayStation Store and Xbox Live Arcade following launches this week on the App Store, WiiWare and US PS Store.

16 years after Sonic 3 launched, the sequel shows off some of the game's iconic stages and some moments against Dr. Eggman, while hinting at what's to come for Episode II: this is Episode I, remember.

Sonic 4 is out now on XBLA for 1200 MS points. It'll go live on the EU PS Store later this afternoon for £9.99.
