Resistance 3 is next Game Informer cover

And off we go. Resistance 3 will appear on the next issue of Game Informer as its main cover star.

The magazine also confirmed on its website Joseph Capelli from Resistance 2 is the new main character for the threequel.

GI promises a ten-page feature of "never-before-told info on the new hero, the brutal Chimera-ruled world, changes to gameplay, and even a glimpse at new weaponry and threats."

The game was formally unveiled in Cologne during gamescom back in August, with the first shots of the Insomniac shooter appearing last week.

Resistance 3 releases next year for PS3.
