Video - Project Dark might be Demon's Souls 2 in disguise

Announcement trailer throws light on mysterious project.

When From Software revealed Project Dark at TGS this week, many assumed it would be either a direct follow-up or pseudo-sequel to Demon's Souls.

Unfortunately, the company didn't confirm whether or not the game was indeed Demon's Souls 2, or if it has any relation to the rock-hard RPG. However, the game's announcement trailer gives us some clues.

Watch it below.

As you can see, the game looks every bit like what a Demon's Souls sequel should. Similar warriors in armour, same perspective, identical combat system and even a big bad dragon.

Project Dark also seems to take place in a similar setting to its predecessor.

We have a sneaky suspicion that Project Dark might be a "working title" right now.

Project Dark is also releasing for Xbox 360, according to the game's official website, and its chances of a European release looks bright too.

The UK wing of Namco Bandai told Eurogamer to "wait and see" when asked about a potential publishing deal for Project Dark.
