Test Drive Unlimited 2 enters closed beta test

Namco Bandai's announced Test Drive Unlimited 2 has now entered into the beta phase.

The publisher says it's entered into a closed beta for PC, with participants picked "based on their knowledge of the racing genre, passion for video games, and gaming system requirements".

More users will be added to the test soon, according to NBP.

Applications for a beta test opened up before the beginning of the summer on the game's website, and was first confirmed by game director Alain Jarniou to VG247 at a pre-E3 event in Spain in May.

Test Drive Unlimited 2 launches on PS3, 360 and PC in Q1 2011.
